ARR RADIO MOUNTS - BUILT TOUGH!!! ---- SIMPLE INSTALLATION!!!

MOUNTING YOUR RADIO/s (OR CD PLAYER, OR GPS, OR ??).

FITS ALL WRANGLERS FROM 1995 TO 2016 (TJs - JKs and 95 and newer YJs)

1995 - 2006 YJ/TJs and 2007 - 2016 JKs without a 3 piece top - require no drilling.  Simply follow the included instructions.

2007-2016 JKs with a 3 piece top will require a 3/8" hole to be drilled in the windshield support bar - about 1.5" in front of the existing hole used for aligning the 3 piece panels.

There are a number of ways to mount a radio in a Wrangler.  Under the dash is one option, but the newer rigs have plastic dashes and only very small radios will fit.  If your 6 foot tall like me, under the dash isn't an option.   I tried mounting it under the dash on the passenger side, but my wife suggested that it may not be the best option.  Of course, she was right.

At least one company offers an overhead console that provides great security.  (If security is a great concern, one of these consoles may be your best option.)  These are nice products, but they seem to have a few limitations.  1) your radio has to be the right size to fit in the console, 2) if you have two radios (CB and HAM) the second radio is located so far to the rear you can't see the face, 3) like so many Jeep products, your wallet gets a lot lighter.

Check out my solution.    Its a little difficult to see the mount in the picture.  Look close.  Its the bar on which the radios are mounted.  It attaches to the windshield support bars (the part of your factory "roll cage" that connects from the rear roll bar to the windshield.

Most models require no drilling.  Just set it in place and bolt it in.

Mounting a radio also requires no drilling.  Holes and self tapping screws are provided for mounting a typical radio.  However, if you have a unique rig you may have to drill some holes for your radio brackets.

All necessary bolts are included.  Plus, I have included basic power wiring and connectors and a fuse holder, to simplify your hookup.

I have a CB and a 2 Meter rig mounted in my TJ in the pictures.    I also velcro attach my GPS when we're out playing.  It sits up high with no obstructions.

A professional photographer I'm not.  Here is a side view.  The radio mount attaches to the windshield support bars that are part of the factory roll bar assembly.  IF YOUR JEEP DOES NOT HAVE THESE SUPPORT BARS, THIS ASSEMBLY WILL NOT WORK ON YOUR JEEP.  Sorry!!

Installion couldn't be easier.  Simply unscrew the knob bolts that hold the door frames to the windshield support bar, set your ARR Radio Mount on top and secure it in place using the knob bolts or the metric bolts supplied with the ARR mount.  If you don't have the door frames installed, simple use a set of bolts and nuts (supplied) to secure the ARR Radio Mount to the support bars.  Don't have the support bars, ouch!!  Sorry, my design will only work with the support bars.
